Turbo Lister CSV Imports - Function to enable the loading large chunks of HTML Descriptions

Howdy,

Sharing this one as it had me stumped for an hour or two.

When loading products to eBay’s Turbo Lister application, if you don’t remove the line feeds in the description, then the description cells are not loaded.

As column H is the description column, add this macro as part of your saving routine and it’ll remove the CRLF (carriage return, line feeds) and replace them with “%0d%0a” and hey presto, your descriptions will import :)

Sub GetRidofLines()
Columns(“H:H”).Select
Selection.Replace What:=Chr(10), Replacement:=”%0d%0a”, LookAt:=xlPart, _
SearchOrder:=xlByRows, MatchCase:=False, SearchFormat:=False, _
ReplaceFormat:=False
End Sub

Hope that helps someone else, like I said it had me stuck for an hour or so until I worked out what it was & how to solve it.

Matt
