Use Dropbox? 5Gb Free Storage for BETA Testers

I was passed this from one of the chaps I play games with. If you watch the video and also check the link here, its an official thread as part of their beta program and while I’ve not personally verified this (which I am doing right now I hasten to add), 2 colleagues have.

If you’ve not heard of DropBox before, see an earlier article where I covered this tool here “DropBox, File Backup & Transfer Matt Proof

Update: See the image to the top right, current gained an extra 3.5Gb & there is just under 4Gb of photos and video on my camera currently

Hi Matt, we pay for additional space (50gb), can’t remember the cost but it’s not a lot. I needed it for image storage, templates that kind of thing which we use across multiple PC’s and tend to take up a lot of space.

Good for backups/intranet files too which are auto sent to all the PC’s. (I’m also paranoid about losing data).

Fantastic tool. We use it for saving files which we use accross multiple PC’s at home and in the office – link the file or folder to your quick launch toolbar and you always have access to the current file. Its also possible to make the file public to give access to others.
